ACQUIRE MAJOR PART OF BENTEK LIMITED

Solutions Limited, East Anglia’s leading distributor of
photocopiers, printers and multifunctional devices has
significantly added to its business through acquiring the
copier division of Bentek Limited.
Bentek Ltd, a well-known and respected business in East
Anglia will continue with its successful “Business and I.T.
Solutions” company. |
Keith Delaney, the director of Bentek principally
responsible for the photocopiers operation is joining the
Board of Copy IT, as Executive Director of the Ipswich-based
facility. Copy IT will continue to run the business from the
premises in Foxtail Road on the Ransomes Europark using all
the existing staff and sharing the facilities thus ensuring
a seamless transition.
Brian Benneworth, Chairman of Bentek said, “Being close
geographical neighbours we have had a long term association
with Copy IT. Our copier division supplies similar products
and both companies are dealers for Ricoh (UK) Ltd who have
welcomed this transaction”. “Both Bentek and Copy IT have
continued to be successful during the recession and this
move will enable Bentek to concentrate on its core I.T.
business while Copy IT will strengthen and expand by adding
an Ipswich Branch to its Norwich and Cambridge operations”
Clive Secker, Managing Director of Copy IT said, “We already
have a substantial amount of business in Suffolk, which
includes the Port of Felixstowe and Greene King, and we are
delighted that this transaction will assist us in continuing
to improve our sales and servicing capabilities across East
Anglia”.
